World Hoop Day Sydney 2013

World Hoop Day 2013

World Hoop day is all about hooping for peace, its held on the first Saturday of October where we are all encouraged to get together and hoop to celebrate and appreciate this fun and life changing activity which brings so many people together and brings such big smiles to our faces!

World Hoop Day is a non-profit organisation which was founded and created by Annie O’Keefe who profoundly believes in bringing joy, peace and freedom to children around the world. As World hoop day approaches, various communities throughout the globe prepare their own World Hoop Day celebrations and share their experience to the world through the internet.

So Sydney siders, lets get this party started.. Rock up to Hyde Park on October 5th and expect to have a blast and meet other amazing beautiful people who also share the hoop love!

Join the Facebook World Hoop Day Sydney Chapter Events Page for an exact location in Hyde Park. A huge warm appreciation to Phoebe Linguini who has organised this celebration for Sydney. Hurrraaah 🙂

Here’s a video of the 2012 World Hoop Day Compilation around the world.  At least 379 hoopers in 11 countries created 44 versions of the dance that are used in this montage by Kristen McQuillin. Enjoy
