The most rotations of a giant hula hoop in one minute is 64 and was achieved by Ashrita Furman (USA) in Jamaica, New York, USA, on 30 April 2008. The record was equalled by Georgos “Spilly” Spiliadis (USA), who also achieved 64 rotations, on the set of ‘Lo Show dei Record’ in Rome, Italy, on 12 March 2012.
