Do you ever watch a video of yourself and go “what is my hand doing”? This has been something I’ve worked on throughout my hoop journey and will likely always have to put energy towards. Often times it’s easy for us to forget about our other hand, the on that isn’t holding a hoop. What do we do with this hand? What can we do? Learning to hula hoop is like learning to ride a bike. Sure, someone can explain the mechanics to you, and you can observe how others do it, but ultimately it comes down to you alone. There is a moment when you shift from thinking consciously about your movements, your body wobbly and unsure, to that instant when your mind clicks off, your instincts take over and suddenly you are moving under your own power, your motion is in sync with the bike. In that moment, there is magic. And it’s the closest feeling I can compare to the wonder of making that transition from “I just can’t get it” to squeals of joy when I finally master a new move. Whether you’re working on simply keeping it spinning for the very first time or conquering something much more complicated, I have noticed a personal pattern of learning for most of us and it breaks down into four stages. The move has been broken down step by step visually so it is understandable by everyone. Hoggus and Ban both live in Mexico. Continue reading Hula Hooping Tutorial: Butterfly Variation

Thank you Maria 💓 much love and blessings to you
Thank you so much. My gorgeous beginner hoop arrived in record time. I absolutely love it! I've started working my way through the online course and am loving the easy-to-follow instruction and relaxed, no-pressure vibe. In my head, I am already picking out the colours of my next hoop (why just have one?).
If you’re wondering whether to buy a hula hoop from Maria then take my advice and DO IT!! Maria is a total sweetheart and her hoops are a work of art. I adore mine, I want ten more. It’s sparkly and pretty and sturdy and light and you definitely should purchase your hoop from her.
Maria make the most incredible travelling hoops, not only functional but absolutely beautiful and perfectly weighted. I recently travelled for 7 weeks overseas and whilst on tour, I assembled my hoop at each destination in just 60 seconds and was ready for my hooping workout, what a great way to keep fit whilst eating & drinking your way around europe, in fact I returned home 2kgs lighter, thanks Maria
I purchased Maria's online hooping course and I found it so useful! Maria explains things in real detail, I'm so grateful to have more confidence in my hooping skills. Thank you!
